Mr. Simon goes into retirement

Dipl. Ing. Thomas Rainer Simon founded the F+S GmbH in 1999 together with Dr. Joachim Fleckner and was active as the General Manager till 2008. During this period, F+S GmbH became an established and well-recognized company in the field of automotive development and consulting. To initiate the timely succession of company management, Mr. Simon handed over his management responsibilities in 2008 to Dipl. Ing. Josef Horstkötter. Since then he has been working as management proxy and development specialist

F+S employee is certified Requirement Engineering Professional

For many years F+S advises and supports customers successfully in Requirement Engineering and has extensive methodical know-how. To complement and formally document this knowledge, Ms. Silvia Hollubarsch completed a training and successfully passed the examination for "IREB® Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering, Foundation Level". Like in the sectors of testing and functional safety, now our customers have the assurance that we possess up-to-date, application-related and recognized know-how also in this topic.

F+S exhibited at embedded world 2012

Like every year, the embedded world Exhibition&Conference, the world's biggest exhibition for embedded technologies and forum for the international embedded community, was held in Nuremberg (this year from February 28th to March 1st). More than 750 exhibitors from over 30 countries presented their innovative products and services in Nuremberg.

For the second time, F+S GmbH was present at this exhibition. Again, we were very pleased with the new contacts we were able to make.

In the last year F+S has grown steadily and engaged four new employees. And again all staff were very satisfied and highly motivated. For the past 12 years no employee has left the company. F+S has a balanced age structure - young graduates with the latest knowledge and experienced developers and consultants, who work with each other and learn from each other.

F+S employee takes lead in new intacs Working Group “Assessor Support”

intacs™ is the association of all ISO 15504 SPICE Assessors who are qualified by and working on basis of the intacs™ scheme. This scheme is accepted by the automotive industry and the HIS / VDA AK 13 (working group responsible for defining process requirements for car manufacturers and n-tier suppliers).
