Additional F+S employees acquire Automotive Functional Safety Professional (AFSP) certification

AFSPMore and more ECUs in the automotive sector are being classified as safety relevant. And this demands careful work and compliance with the ISO 26262 defined processes.
As it has been often mentioned, due to these reasons F+S trains its consultants to become „Automotive Functional Safety Professional (AFSP)“. We are happy to announce that further colleagues have attended the course and passed the certification exam.
Apart from the up-and-coming consultants, all of our consultant colleagues are now certified safety professionals.

VDA Automotive SYS Conference: vast enthusiasm for “Mechanical SPICE”

Mechanical SPICEThe concept presented by Mr. Zeh, Managing Director of F+S, on 17.07.2015 at the VDA Automotive SYS® about SPICE based systematic development of complex mechanical and mechatronic systems created vast interest within the community. The auditorium was full of colleagues who were interested in the subject matter and Mr. Zeh was addressed with various queries during and after the presentation.

The fundamental ideas have been primarily developed within the scope of several Gate4SPICE meetings and since the beginning of 2015 a specially founded workgroup „Mechanical SPICE“ of the intacs is responsible for the systematization and consolidation of those ideas.

F+S presentation at the Fifth VDA Automotive SYS Conference

From 15-17 July, 2015 the fifth VDA Automotive SYS® Conference, leading conference for quality, safety and security in automotive sector, will take place in Berlin.

F+S is proud to be invited as one of the speakers at the conference. Mr. Zeh will present the outcomes regarding the topic „SPICE for Mechanical Systems“, which were acquired in the iNTACS Gate4SPICE events.

Since long we are striving for a better integration of the development process of all components - software, hardware and mechanics - in the mechatronic systems. In addition to the enhancement of the norm, different new ideas that are discussed at the Gate4SPICE events will also be presented here in front a large audience. We look forward to some interesting discussions.
