Release Notes

Version 2.5 of the Process Assessment Model incorporates changes regarding
  • application parameter management (ENG processes, SUP.8 and work product 01-51)
  • extending storage beyond lifetime guarantee of media (SUP.8.BP11)
  • project attributes and project performance clarifying the need for schedule and effort as a primary focus (MAN.3.BP10 & PA2.1)
  • emphasising the use of this document in conjunction with the terminology in ISO/IEC 15504-1
  • unit testing and significant editorial changes to the Software construction process (ENG.6)
  • test output work products to align with updated IEEE-829 :2008 (08-50, 08-52, 13-50)
  • registered trademark notice.

Version 2.5 of the Process Assessment replaces Version 2.4 of the Process Assessment Model with immediate effect.
Version 4.5 of the Process Reference Model has been released at the same time and is aligned to version 2.5 of the Process Assessment Model.
Any problems or change requests should be reported through the defined mechanism at the www.automotivespice.com web site. These will be addressed by the Change Control Board which meets every 6 months.

The Standards ISO/IEC 15504:2003 Information Technology – Process Assessment – Part 2 and  ISO/IEC FCD 15504:2005 Information Technology – Process Assessment – Part 5 were converted by F+S Fleckner und Simon Informationstechnik GmbH from PDF to HTML in order to simplify navigation and quickly finding relevant information.
